Islamia Paints & Decor Kolkata / Local Ranking Plan
Local Ranking Action Plan
This is a practical checklist for the real-world business entity. It separates website work from actions that must be performed on the Google Business Profile and external citations.
1. Relevance
- Keep exact business name, physical address, phone and hours consistent on the official website.
- Maintain dedicated brand, category, product and service pages.
- Keep the Google Business Profile category and attributes accurate.
- Add eligible in-store products to the Business Profile where available.
2. Distance
- Make the real showroom location explicit.
- Do not manufacture service-area claims or fake proximity statements.
- Use genuine directions/Maps links.
3. Prominence
- Maintain genuine review evidence and real store photos.
- Maintain consistent external business citations.
- Earn legitimate mentions/links from relevant local, trade and manufacturer/community sources.
- Keep the Business Profile active and accurate; respond helpfully to reviews.
4. Website quality
- People-first technical library.
- Dedicated product pages.
- Evidence-first review architecture.
- Real business photo gallery.
- Do not mass-create thin locality pages merely to capture keywords.
5. Measurement
- Use Google Search Console to monitor indexed URLs, queries, clicks and pages.
- Use Google Business Profile performance to monitor local discovery and interactions.
- Track branded, product, category and local queries separately.
Source note
Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence. It also recommends complete and accurate business information, review responses, photos/videos and eligible in-store products. This page turns those principles into a practical checklist rather than claiming a secret ranking formula.
