Four-Phase Manufacturer Intelligence

V86 consolidates four major workstreams into one architecture so the website can be upgraded in larger batches without changing the source-of-truth rules.

Phase 1 — Asian Paints

Current Asian Paints product architecture emphasizes product families, finish/benefit-led discovery, product comparison, colour discovery and product resources. Its current Royale catalogue lists variants such as Royale Aspira, Royale Glitz, Royale Glitz Reserv, Royale Glitz Ultra Matt, Royale Shyne, Royale Matt and Royale Advanced.

Islamia implementation: exact product identity → benefit/finish → application system → manufacturer evidence → related products → colour discovery.

Phase 2 — Berger

Current Berger product pages combine benefits, product data sheets, application process and colour exploration. The Easy Clean family page also compares variants using attributes such as finish, coverage, washability and warranty.

Islamia implementation: product family → benefit comparison → technical evidence → application → colour/visualisation → service/enquiry.

Phase 3 — Birla Opus

Current Birla Opus separates Interior, Exterior, Waterproofing, Enamels, Wood Finishes, Wallpaper, Tools and Aerosols, and organizes major product families such as One, Calista, Style, Alldry and Allwood. Product information is connected to warranty, application, colour and service journeys.

Islamia implementation: brand family → category → product → technical evidence → warranty/assurance distinction → colour → service.

Phase 3B — Dr Fixit

Current Dr Fixit positions waterproofing around leakage/dampness problems and highlights products such as LW+, Pidicrete URP, Raincoat, Roofseal Classic, Pidifin 2K and Fastflex.

Islamia implementation: problem → area → diagnosis → system → product → application → manufacturer evidence → local enquiry.

Phase 4 — Cross-brand engine

The key advantage of Islamia is that customers can compare solutions across major brands rather than being locked into one manufacturer ecosystem.

Source governance

  1. Current official manufacturer product page.
  2. Current manufacturer PIS/TDS and warranty documentation.
  3. Supplied manufacturer/trade reference material when relevant and clearly labelled.
  4. General technical library knowledge for education, not for unsupported product specifications.
  5. Islamia's own stock, rate, dealership and customer evidence are separate facts.

Never silently substitute a legacy product with a similarly named current product.
